Bitter Sweet Goodbyes

I had the opportunity to work much closer to home, so I’m transferring schools next semester. There are a few students whom I will truly miss. This is my third year working with this family and the student will be out all this week prior to Christmas break, so she brought me a gift on Friday. She gave me the journal and said “Because you wrote a book!” 🥹 And I have not made time to write the past month at all, so I told her it will help kick me back into gear. Going to a new school in January will be harder since this bubbly girl won’t be popping into my office each day. ☹️ but also 🥰📝📖🍎
